When Apple recalled multiple runs of batteries back in the spring I was bummed to find out that my poorly functioning powerbook battery did not make the cut. Since then I purchased a new one and put the old one on the shelf for emergency power.
Well lucky me! It turns out apple recalled even more batteries! This time my newer battery falls into the list of serial numbers recalled! Sweet! Most people would be upset, but not me. I’ve been a bit clumsy over the past few months and have dropped my laptop on more than one occasion. The three little prongs that hold the battery in snapped off forcing me to use packing tape to hold the battery in. It works better that I thought it would, but the esthetic is less than desirable. I filed my claim last night, I’m curious to see how long it will take for the new battery to be shipped.

I installed PodPress so I could start doing some podcasting. I really haven’t tweaked the plugin yet, but it’s pretty sweet even when using the default settings. Regardless here’s my first podcast. I’m hoping to make this a monthly thing and be sure to make little podcast buttons for easy subscribing another time. That’s my new favorite web typo. Maybe it can become slang for something or obtain similar ranking in the “leet” world with words such as “pw3d” or “teh” or “n00b”. It probably won’t cause it’s too long, too hard to remember and not technically something you incorrectly type. Oh but It’s everywhere. Well everywhere being people’s myspace pages that have a youtube video on them. is not allowed!!!! Just get rid of it and it works fine. Stupidheads.

A month back while perusing through an archived hard drive of mine I found that video along with a somewhat intact website. Greatest band ever? I’ll be sure to post the rest of the missing videos and the whole album soon. Believe it or not there is about an hour of unreleased, unfinished recordings from the days of DH. Will it ever be finished? I hope so
